Dear Sections, Active ESNers and Partners,

It is with regret that I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign my position as the President of Erasmus Student Network Finland ry. This decision will be effective as of 1 June 2013.

My other commitments have become too great for me to be able to fulfill the requirements of my position on the Board, and I feel it is best for me to make room for someone with the time, energy and motivation to devote to the job.

I thank you all for the cooperation during the past 5 months and wish you all the best for the future challenges within ESN Finland. We have had a successful spring and created a lot of new and positive things. I hope that you will hold on to the new practices adopted at the NP Oulu, as well as continue developing more effective means of working and learning. The Regional Trainings, for example, have a lot of potential - I would wish to see them reach their full capacity and bring you new ideas and motivation to you in your valuable work! Furthermore, our national event, The Pirates of the Baltic Sea, was once more a great success - I thank you all sincerely for the active participation in the preparations and organisation of the events on board.

My decision will not affect ESN Finland's day-to-day operations, our Vice President Henna Peltoniemi and the whole Board will see to that. I will do my best in transferring all the knowledge and documents in my possession to the Vice President and the Board during the next weeks. The Board will be calling for the position of the new President shortly - please consider taking this opportunity if you find it appealing at all.

If I can be of any assistance during the time it will take to fill the position, please don't hesitate to ask. I will also gladly answer any questions regarding the position or the tasks it entails.

I wish you all a successful year 2013!

Best Regards,

Dear Salha and ESNers in Finland,

We, as a ESN Finland board, are sad to see Salha go, but we respect her for making such a hard decision. She has been a great asset for us.

We would like to thank you Salha for everything you've done with us for the network.

On next Tuesday the board will have a board meeting to discuss the necessary task division and to open the call for a new president. The selection will happen in a National Platform via Skype in the end of June. Other issues in the NP will be DNA and Aikamatkat contracts and selecting a new section (ESN Metropolia). More on the NP Skype 2013 after the board meeting held next week.

If there are any questions on these issues, I'm reachable via phone (0400-236484) and email.

Henna Peltoniemi, Vice-President
